Withings seemingly delays its Move wearable until April

During CES 2019, Withings announced two new wearable devices with the Move and Move ECG. While the latter was scheduled to debut in the second quarter of the year, the former was on track to have a retail release in a couple weeks. Now it appears that the release of the Move has been delayed if an email from Amazon is any indication.

Amazon sent out a notice of delay on February 5, notifying that the product would have a new estimated arrival date of April 3. This will no doubt be quite disappointing to those that were expecting to have a new fitness wearable this month. Naturally, this item isn’t just exclusively available from Amazon and is also being sold through Withings own website which currently shows that all Move watches are ‘out of stock’.

There could be a lot of reasons why the watch has been delayed, perhaps an error on Amazon’s part, so we have reached out to Withings in order to get some clarification on the matter. When we get a response, we will be sure to update the article with the new information.
