EA today announced the new wave of games that will be hitting its PC game subscription service Origin Access during the month of October. Most of the games are still a couple of weeks away from arriving for subscribers, but it’s a rather hefty group with hit roguelikes such as Slay the Spire and Dead Cells.
The majority of the new games are coming to Basic and Premier subscribers alike, while the new Apex Legends Battle Pass, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and Shantae Ultimate Edition are Premier subscriber-specific.
See the full breakdown below:
- Apex Legends Season 3 Battle Pass (Premier)
- Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Deluxe Edition (Premier)
- Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition (Premier)
- Dead Cells
- Slay the Spire
- Shantae: Half Genie Hero
- Home Behind
- Nex Machina
Superhot is also seen on today’s announcement tweet image by the official Origin Twitter account, but curiously, the game is missing from the text portion.
Don’t forget that EA is currently offering a free month of Origin Access to all users for simply enabling two-factor authentication on their accounts. Current subscribers get a free month of whichever tier they are signed up for.
Speaking of tiers, the Origin Access Basic tier comes in at $4.99 per month, with its big brother Premier costing $14.99 per month. Both of the subscriptions come with a vault of games boasting more than 200 games, Origin store discounts, and early access to EA games. But Premier subscribers also gain unlimited access to all new releases of EA – even before their retail release dates – as well as high profile games from other publishers, in addition to the aforementioned perks.
